For the Greater Kansas City region to achieve Digital Equity, we must have a holistic view of all the Digital Equity needs and gaps in service that generated the wave of federal funding under the IIJA legislation. The links below represent bodies of research and reports that have established a clear set of Digital Equity goals to be achieved by organizations doing digital inclusion. As the wave of federal funding from the BEAD and DEA allocations begin to materialize, DEPO-KC will be tracking a Digital Equity Community Scorecard (DECS), and reporting monthly the progress of agencies throughout Greater Kansas City.
